...i'm still grappling with the idea

"Looks like an apple. Tastes like a grape."
Being an intelligent-minded consumer, I immediately wondered how they'd managed to cross-breed the grape and apple, because they are from extremely different botanical families.
Roses and apples? Maybe. They're both Rosaceae.
THE ROSE FAMILYI'm familiar with the aprium and the pluot. Also both Rosaceae."The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum I suppose.
The dear only knows
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose -
But were always a rose."
Robert Frost
But never a cross between a Vitaceae and a Rosaceae.
And then I read the fine print: apparently, a Grapple is really a Fuji apple imbued with the powers of artificial grape flavoring.
Which just sounds really fucking nasty.

Happy now?

If you're going to try to steal my picture without credit, at least have the courtesy to link to my article.
Okay, photo credit and link as requested.
And I like to think of it as borrowing. I would have stolen it if I completely copied it and hosted it from my own site, or even from blogger. At least the photo properties show it's from you.
Generally, if I take a photo of something, I will say that I took it.
I actually did take a picture of the Grapple packaging that looks incredibly similar to your image, but I was too lazy to picture message it to my computer.
Shame on me. I suck. Mea culpa.
Thanks for being cool about it - that's rare and awesome.
